Ranging from tray-like units to the more popular leather folders, receipt holders loose the unique appeal that a unique restaurant is always striving for. The Poly Plane is a reinterpretation of the simple and often overlooked receipt holder, which has not changed as a product since the creation of the hospitality industry. Designed for a Toronto restaurant, the polygonal planes bend and create secure spaces for bills, credit cards and coins, while playfully displaying their character and function.
The Sleipe (Nordic for Sneaky) light collection will be featured at the IDS 2014 North Studio. A set of pieces that range from form, shape and anything in between, are a sculptural addition to any working or living space. Here are some images showing the process and material elements of the product.
A beautifully shot film. Simple yet so complex. As an enthusiast towards vintage motorcycles (and rider myself) I hope you truly enjoy this video!

With the riding season coming to an end, I am trying to enjoy every day that I can riding my beautiful 1975 Honda CB 750. Over 5000 miles this summer and she is still running strongly. It was alot of work over last winter trying to change certain elements of the bike as you can see from some of the pictures. Countless hours in my friend's garage have all been worth it. This is what I often look forward to when I am not working.
It has been a while since I have posted on the News section but have definitely been very busy post the IDS Feature. The feedback was tremendous, and the opportunities that came after have certainly been beneficial. Here are some shots of the people and media enjoying the One-Two Table. Ran out of business cards on the 2nd day so everyone started taking shots of the metal panel with the info.
The One-Two Table is set and ready for trade day, public and media interest throughout the weekend. Ryerson's Architectural Science has commissioned the One Two Three Table for their Faculty Lounge. More to come!
ehoeho is selected to feature at the Interior Design Show for the Up and Coming Designers. Aside from great concepts, products, and interesting guest speakers, come and say Hi! We will share a couple of laughs and exchange business cards.
Here is a preview of the wood chosen for the One-Two table. While it is beautiful in its texture wood is one of the most difficult materials for a designer to master, because it is virtually the only building material that is vegetable rather than mineral. With this vegetable origin, comes a host of issues relating to directional properties, strength, stiffness, grain patterns, shrinkage, distortion, insect damage and fire.
